PRESENTATIONS AND MATERIALS
Kick-off session for this years Webinar Events was ”Product Development Information Reuse”, where the main focus was in Reusability of product information. The webinar itself showed very detailed and concrete examples, how companies Scania, Sandvik and Consilium have built their information structure and processes that now allow them to enjoy the benefits of effective reuse. You can re-live the presentations with our webinar recording, or read the Executive summary of the session!
FIRST SESSION MATERIALS AND RECORDING
Second session was something completely different, when we dived deep to the power of low-code applications. In this Siemens provided webinar ”Mastering Requirements and Change Processes in Large Capital Projects”, Tord Ringenhall from Taipuva, Victor Ahlen from Siemens and Sami Myllyviita from Prohoc showed us how to digitalize the delivery and validation of difficult requirements and eliminating the errors and rework that erode project execution performance and final investment returns.
SECOND SESSION MATERIALS AND RECORDING
”Polarion Today & Tomorrow” Session showed the current status and future of Polarion. We had the pleasure to hear amazing presentations from quest stars from Siemens: Zdenek Fielder presented Polarion Strategy and Roadmap, while Radek Krotil showed us What’s New in Polarion 21 R1. Tapio Tuomola and Pasi Ahola from Taipuva gave participants a tour on some of our more Advanced Solutions for Polarion.
THIRD SESSION MATERIALS AND RECORDING
Fourth session was the most popular one of them all. New Medical Device Regulation (and IVDR) increases the importance of risk management and traceability. ”Medical Device Design Controls & Risk Management – Digitalization” – topic gathered a large crowd to hear how to be effective and fully digital. Opening words from Swedish Medtech’s Jan Heidebrandt, “Risk assessment according to ISO 14971:2019 with Polarion” presentation from Boule’s Tom Pessala and Taipuva’s simple-to-use solution for design controls gave the audience a lot of new ideas to use in their own organisation!
FOURTH SESSION MATERIALS AND RECORDING
Last but certainly not least session was about ”Extending Polarion Out of the Box”. Taipuva showed some unusual user cases and rather exotic solutions for Polarion and Storstockholms Lokaltrafik’s Henrik Morast gave us a great presentation on how their own Internal User Forum works. All in all this was the best possible way to end the webinar series for now!
